Initial casting announced for UK Tour of Wicked


Initial casting has been announced for the upcoming uk tour of Wicked, which kicks off in December

Laura Pick will play the role of Elphaba, having previously played the role in the West End. She is due to play the role at every venue with further casting to be announced.

Complete casting for Operation Mincemeat announced

Full casting has been revealed for the west end production of Operation Mincemeat, which opens at the Fortune theatre next month.

The cast will include David Cumming, Claire Marie Hall, Natasha Hodsgon, Jak Malone and Zöe Roberts, with understudies Seán Carey, Geri Allen, Christian Andrews and Holly Sumpton.

The Lord of the Rings musical to be revived

It has been announced that The Lord of the Rings musical adaptation will be revived this summer in an epic and immersive production at The Watermill Theatre

The venue’s director Paul Hart, who helms the new production, said today: “We are thrilled to be bringing Bag End to Bagnor this summer with one of the most epic stories ever written. Our production of The Lord of the Rings will take audiences from the lush idyll of the Shire in our gardens to the darkest depths of the Cracks of Doom. You may be wondering how we’re going to fit this huge show in our 200-seat theatre – come and witness the impossible!”

Full casting announced for Tony, The Tony Blair Rock Opera announced

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming production of Tony! The Tony Blair Rock Opera which is due to run at the Leicester Square Theatre prior to a uk tour which includes a run at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Jack Whittle will star as Tony Blair with Howard Samuels as Peter Mandelson, Tori Burgess as Cherie Blair, Phil Sealey as Gordon Brown, Martin Johnston as Neil Kinnock, Rosie Strobel as John Prescott, Sally Cheng as Robin Cook, Emma Jay Thomas as Princess Diana and William Hazell as on-stage cover. Additional characters portrayed by the company include the likes of Saddam Hussein, Liam Gallagher, Alastair Campbell and Osama bin Laden, among many others.

The Women in Black to tour the UK


It has been announced that The Women in Black will embark on a UK Tour after closing in the West End

Opening in Wolverhampton on 6 September 2023, the tour will visit Cardiff, Billingham, Buxton, Aylesbury, Southend, Richmond, Poole, Nottingham, Liverpool, Norwich, Truro, York, Birmingham, Bradford, Brighton, Ipswich, Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Dartford, High Wycombe and Crewe. Further tour dates and casting are to be announced.
