The news that has had theatre land talking this week includes


Peter Pan Goes Wrong to tour the UK


With the show opening on Broadway in just a couple of weeks, it has now been announced that Peter Pan Goes Wrong will tour the UK later this year.

The show will fly into Richmond, Aylesbury, Nottingham, Liverpool, Southampton, Wolverhampton, Bath, Leeds, Cardiff, Canterbury, Newcastle and Sheffield with more dates and casting to be announced.

New casting has been announced for the UK tour of Six

Nicole Louise Lewis joins as Catherine of Aragon alongside Laura Dawn Pyatt as Anne Boleyn, Erin Caldwell as Jane Seymour, Kenedy Small as Anna of Cleves, Lou Henry as Katherine Howard and Aoife Haakenson as Catherine Parr.

Tamara Morgan, Izi Maxwell and Ellie Jane Grant will join as alternates with Shakira Simpson as super swing and dance captain.

Pretty Women sets closing date

It has been announced that Pretty Women will close in the West end in June 18th ahead of its first UK Tour

Danny Mac is set to leave the production in early April, with the role of Edward then being played by Oliver Tompsett from April 4th to its closing date

A Strange Loop to have UK Premiere

A Strange Loop will have its UK premiere this summer, playing at the Barbican Theatre from 17 June to 9 September

It follows Usher, a black queer writer trying to break into the industry. Blending gospel, R&B and traditional musical theatre, it tells Usher’s story by repeatedly revisiting and reimagining his life.

Full casting announced for Mrs Doubtfire

Full casting has been announced for Mrs Doubtfire which opens at the Shaftesbury Theatre in May.

Gabriel Vick, as previously announced, will play Daniel Hillard, with Laura Tebbutt as Miranda, Carla Dixon-Hernandez as Lydia, Cameron Blakely as Frank, Marcus Collins as Andre, Samuel Edwards as Stuart Dunmire, Ian Talbot as Mr Jolly and Kelly Aglow as Wanda Sellner.

The cast is completed by Nicole Carlisle, Joshua Dever, Joseph Dockree, Rebecca Donnelly, Amy Everett, Maria Garrett, Kiera Haynes, Vicki Lee Taylor, Adam Lyons, Lisa Mathieson, Corey Mitchell, Ellie Mitchell, Matt Overfield, Rhys Owen, Christopher Parkinson, Micha Richardson, Tom Scanlon, Paulo Teixeira and Samuel Wilson-Freeman.

The child cast is composed of Max Bispham, Elliot Mugume and Frankie Treadaway, who alternate the role of Christopher Hillard, as well as Scarlett Davies, Angelica-Pearl Scott and Ava Posniak, who alternate the role of Natalie Hillard.
