Full casting announced for Legally Blonde

Full casting has been announced for the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre’s production of Legally Blonde.

Courtney Bowman will play Elle, with Michael Ahomka-Lindsay as Emmett, Lauren Drew as Brooke, Vanessa Fisher as Vivienne, Isaac Hesketh as Margot, Nadine Higgin as Paulette, Alźbeta Matyšàkovà as Enid, Eugene McCoy as Callahan, Grace Mouat as Pilar, Alistair Toovey as Warner and Hannah Run Chamberlain as Serena.

The ensemble includes Gabriela Benedetti, Jasmin Colangelo, Lucca Chadwick-Patel, Allie Daniel, Dominic Lamb, Joe Foster, Liam McEvoy, Ashley Rowe, Shakira Simpson, Billy Nevers, Bianca Szynal and Paulo Teixeira.

Full casting announced for My Fair Lady

Full casting has been announced for My Fair Lady at the London Coliseum

Joining Amara Okereke (Eliza),Harry Hadden-Paton (Henry Higgins), Sharif Afifi (Freddy Eynsford-Hill), Maureen Beattie (Mrs Pearce) and Vanessa Redgrave (Mrs Higgins) will be Stephen K Amos as Alfred Doolittle and Malcolm Sinclair as Colonel Pickering.

The full company is completed with Dammi Aregbeshola, Bernadette Bangura, Joseph Claus, Jordan Crouch, Jamie Cruttenden, Francessca Daniella-Baker, Barry Drummond, Bethany Huckle, Heather Jackson, Emma Johnson, Charlotte Kennedy, Sinead Kenny, Jenny Legg, Tom Liggins, Rebekah Lowings, Carl Patrick, Tom Ping, Dominique Planter, Joseph Poulton, John Stacey, Joshua Steel, Oliver Tester, Adam Vaughan, Annie Wensak and Paul Westwood.Also in the cast are WhatsOnStage Award-winner Vanessa Redgrave (The Inheritance) as Mrs Higgins and Sharif Afifi (Hadestown) as Freddy Eynsford-Hill. Maureen Beattie will play Mrs Pearce.

New casting announced for Rock of Ages Tour

New casting has been announced for the UK Tour of Rock of Ages, with new performers joining the cast from 10 May.

Kevin Kennedy will play Dennis Dupree with Matt Terry as Stacee Jaxx, Vicki Manser as Regina, Sam Turrell as Drew, Gabriella Williams as Sherrie and Kellie Rhianne as Justice. Joe Gash, Vas Constanti, Andrew Carthy and Erin Bell return as Lonny, Hertz Klinemann, Franz Klienmann and Constance respectively.

The cast is completed by Billy Roberts, Scott Hayward, Darius James, Siobhan James, Hollie-Ann Lowe, Phoebe Samuel-Gray and Morgan Scott.

New musical Tasting Notes to run in London

Tasting Notes, a new musical by Richard Baker (Mischief Movie Night musician) and Charlie Ryall, is set to run this summer at the Southwark Playhouse. The show follows 24 hours in a wine bar as the audience are invited to learn more about those who visit the bar.

The creative team includes director Shelley Williams, musical director Richard Baker, set designer Justin Williams, production manager Laurel Marks, and lighting designer Alex Musgrave.

Casting for the show, which runs from 27 July to 27 August, is yet to be revealed.

Casting announced for Great British Bake Off Musical adaptation

Casting has been announced for the new stage adaptation of hit television show The Great British Bake Off.

Created in association with the TV series’ executive producer Richard McKerrow. The show will have its world premiere at Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre on 22 July 2022.

The cast will be lead by John Owen-Jones and Rosemary Ashe as the two judges with Jaye Jacobs and Scott Paige as the presenters. The contestants will be played by Catriana Sandison, Charlotte Wakefield, Claire Moore, Jay Saighal, Damian Humbley, Michael Cahill, Simbi Akande and Aharon Rayner.
