Mind Mangler to tour the UK


It has been announced that following a sell out run at the Edinburgh Fringe, Mischief’s The Mind Mangler will be setting out on a UK Tour.

With a script by Mischief’s Henry Shields, Henry Lewis and Jonathan Sayer, the show stars Lewis as the mind mangler, a somewhat unlucky magician desperate for stardom. With Sayer as the stooge, the pair try to find fame and perform some tricks along the way.

The new two act version of the show will begin its tour in Swindon in January before visiting Cardiff, High Wycombe, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Exeter, Liverpool, Leicester, Brighton, Nottingham, Newcastle, Woking, Wimbledon, Southend, Bromley, Salisbury, Salford, Southampton, Guildford and Bath.

Full casting for Dr Zhivago announced

Full casting has been announced for the concert version of Dr Zhivago which plays on May 7 at the London Palladium.

As previously announced Ramin Karimloo will play Yurii Zhivago with Celinde Scheonmaker as Lara Guishar.

Kelly Mathieson will play Tonia Gromyko with Charlie McCullagh as Pasha Antipov, Nadim Naaman as Viktor Komorovsky, Maisey Bawden as Olya, Cavin Cornwall as Alexander Gromeko, Emma Norman as Anna Gromeko, Tilly Rate Bayer as young Tonia, Olivia Clark as young Lara and Samuel Newby as young Yurii.

Winnie the Pooh musical to tour the UK

UK Tour dates and a run in London have been announced for Disney’s Winnie the Pooh musical with Jake Bazel who originated the role on broadway set to play Winnie.

The show will play at London’s riverside studios in Hammersmith in March before visiting Southampton, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Sheffield, Brighton, Nottingham, Richmond, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin, York, Cardiff, Newcastle, Guildford, Blackpool, Canterbury, Southend, High Wycombe and Cheltenham with more dates to be announced.

Cory English to play Doc Brown

It has been announced that Cory English will be temporarily stepping into Back to the future in the west end, playing Doc Brown,

Roger Bart will hand the famous role to English on 23 November, with English playing the part until 3 January. Bart will then play the part from 5 January to 20 March.

Anna Jane Casey joins the cast of Mother Goose

It has been confirmed that Anna Jane Casey will replace Mel Giedroyc in the upcoming touring pantomime Mother Goose, alongside Ian McKellen and John Bishop.

The show will open in Brighton on 3 December before playing the duke of Yorks theatre in London over Christmas and January. It will then tour to Chichester, Sheffield, Wolverhampton, Liverpool, Oxford, Dublin and Cardiff with more dates to be announced.
